A group of four men, reunited after thirty years apart, were enjoying a night of catching up at a party. After a few drinks, the topic of conversation turned to their children, as it often does with old friends. Three of the men were particularly eager to share, each detailing the amazing lives of their sons. One was a corporate president who gifted a Mercedes to his best friend. Another was a partner in a major airline who had given away a jet. The third was a construction millionaire who had bestowed a massive mansion upon his closest companion. They beamed with pride at the generosity and success of their boys, each story trying to outdo the last.
Their cheerful boasting was interrupted when the fourth member of their group rejoined them. He asked what they were all talking about with such enthusiasm. They explained they were sharing the impressive accomplishments of their sons and asked him about his own child. The man stated calmly that his son was a stripper. The other friends frowned, expressing their sympathy for what they assumed was a disappointing situation. The fourth father would have none of it. He told them not to feel sorry for him, as his son was happy and loved. Furthermore, he was doing just fine for himself. In fact, for his recent birthday, his son’s three boyfriends had pooled their resources to give him a stunning mansion, a new jet, and a luxury car. The three bragging friends were left completely speechless.
