I was at a gem show in the town I grew up in and one of the vendors asked me what there was to do in the town.

My name is Jesse Stewart and I am from North Carolina
My interest in gems and minerals began in August of 2017.
I was at a gem show in the town I grew up in and one of the vendors asked me what there was to do in the town.
I ended up telling him that there were some alien lights that come out at night he could go see
So the guy says hell yeah let’s go!
I took him up the road to an overlook and sure enough when we arrived the lights were out!
Bright orange/yellow lights appear over top of the mountains. They move around in all kinds of weird ways and then.. they just disappear!
Of course he thought it was pretty crazy so when he went back to the gem show he told other vendors about what had happened.
The next day when I arrived to the show there was quite a few people who wanted to go see the lights so that night we all went.
While watching the alien lights we talked and got to know one another. It was interesting hearing all of their stories and learning a little more about crystals as well. They invited me to go on a mining trip with them to a place in South Carolina called Diamond Hill and what did I say?
Hell yeah let’s go!
We camped for 5 days at the mine.
Everyone had a great time and after the 5 day mining trip I was hooked!
now I had lots of quartz crystals from Diamond Hill Mine and I thought I would give selling them a try.
I went to the local yard sale and laid all of the crystals out on the tailgate of my truck
– that was my first time selling crystals

You can work building your own dreams or someone will pay you to build theirs
I never gave up
I never stopped hustling

Within the past few years I have met so many great people and gotten to experience so many new things.
I have learned a lot and I truly appreciate those who’ve been here along the way
